BRAND NEWS: SHARED ACCOUNTS
A new version of the Finax app is out and with it a long-awaited function of account sharing. This means that from now on you may and can share your accounts with other people and contribute to their investment account. How does this new perk work, how to set it up, what are the pros and how to get the most out of it? Read on to find out.

The new Finax mobile app version 3.2.9. brings in a few interesting enhancements. The key one being the ability to share accounts. Thanks to this our clients can gain access to the accounts of their family members or their partner. Therefore, they will be able to track the development of the overall financial wealth of the entire household through just one given access.
How Does It Work? How Do I Set It Up?
In order to set the function up, you need to have the latest version of the app. So if you do not have an automatic updating set up, you have to update the Finax app first.
The function is located in the upper bar of the app right under your name where you simply look up the account manager. Then just tap the “Share my account” option and grant access to your Finax account to your trusted ones.
The person with whom you decide to share the account will then be able to view your account and see the overview of the managed assets and active discounts, send money to an account of choice or make the insurance payment for you
The account remains in the view only mode for the person you share your account with. This means that they cannot make withdrawals or other transactions, nor can they set up new accounts, change the strategy of the already existing ones or conclude insurance.
In practice, the person sees the “Withdrawal” and “Change the investment strategy” buttons as non-active and cannot tap them.
The function is thus protected against potential misuse. Only the account’s owner can grant access to it and may remove it anytime.
You may find the shared account manager and the account sharing option in the web interface too. You may find it in the settings in the “Login manager” section.
We recommend opting for this in case you want to share an account with kids who do not use the mobile app or alternatively with other family members without the mobile app.
Removing Access
In the shared account section there is a subsection made for removing the granted access. Here you will see with whom exactly you are sharing your account and who shares theirs with you. Here you may remove the granted access to your account anytime with a simple tap on the button and confirming the access removal.
Pending Requests
In this section you’ll find the requests awaiting approval, either those you sent to others or those from your acquaintances awaiting your approval.
We hope you’ll appreciate this new perk and that it will assist you in growing your family wealth simply and efficiently.
Your feedback is a priceless part of the improvement process. Therefore, if there are any questions, issues or suggestions, be sure to contact us at client@finax.eu.
